Much thanks to Roy Anderson, Anderson Acres Alpacas, for selling us this gorgeous herdsire!! "Bobby D" is exactly what we were looking for to add to our list of herdsires at Wings and a Prayer. We knew our true black Torbio son, Carbon Fiber, wasn't going to be around forever. Sadly, we lost him Dec. 2022. Bobby is a 4th generation true black on his sire's side. His pedigree includes many of the who's who in the history of suris over the past 20+ years! Speak the names MacGyver, Helios, Rockstar, Kahuna, and Apache and you have a stacked family tree to rival any of the suris in this country. Move up a generation and you'll find Shavano,Silver Marquis, Goldstar, Limited Edition, and Sniper. Need we say anymore?? These legendary genetics just never seem to end in Bobby's pedigree and it's no wonder we feel very fortunate to add him to our farm. Since we are breeding for superior fleece characteristics, Bobby has them all in spades. Luster...check. Density...check. Organization...check. Suri head style...check. And the judges agree - check out his show record at under 2 years of age. Bobby has bred his first female AND she's spitting off! Crossing our fingers, we have his first cria on the ground this year.
